ABOUT THE ARTIST

Dallas Rodin is Toronto’s best-kept secret—but not for long. The singer-songwriter, who formerly studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (Jason Derulo, Jason Mraz, and Janelle Monáe) in New York City has made a name for herself by consistently releasing boundary-pushing pop music. With over 37 million streams, more than 200,000 monthly listeners, countless songwriting credits, and standout performances, Dallas has proven to be a force to be reckoned with.

In 2023, she became a staple on Spotify’s editorial playlists, including New Music Friday, The Scene, It’s a Bop, Pop Punk’s Not Dead, Indie Pop & Chill, Fresh Finds Pop, and more.

Her upcoming debut EP, aptly titled Did I Make You Up Inside My Head?, finds the singer exploring conversations with herself, flaws and all, centered around her battles with anxiety, insomnia, and her yearning for, at least, a little peace of mind. Drawing comparisons to The Weeknd and Lana Del Rey, Dallas sounds more angelic than ever, with her vocals delicately dancing atop a haunting soundscape crafted by Canadian producers Kayla Diamond (Emi Jeen, The Strumbellas), Milano (Tory Lanez, Tiesto, Anthony Russo) and Atom (MeMyself&Vi, Romeo Blanco). Shimmering pop synths, dark chords, and pulsating 808s collide to create a sonic representation of the madness within her mind and allow Dallas to be the most vulnerable she has ever been both lyrically and melodically.
