CANADA’S WALK OF FAME, RBC, AND YASSIN & SEAN TERRIO PRESENT “ROCK THE HALLS: A HOLIDAY BENEFIT BASH” IN SUPPORT OF KIDS HELP PHONE

(TORONTO, ON) November 8, 2024 – Join us on Friday, December 20th for Rock The Halls: A Holiday Benefit Bash, a festive charity concert at Toronto’s legendary El Mocambo in support of Kids Help Phone. Hosted by Canada’s Walk of Fame, RBC, and YASSiN & Sean Terrio, this event will showcase some of Canada’s finest up-and-coming talent alongside special guests, creating a night of unforgettable music for a worthy cause. Jennifer Hsiung of CP24 Breakfast will host the evening.

The headlining act, YASSiN & Sean Terrio, a Toronto-based duo renowned for their soulful vocals and infectious energy, will take the stage following their celebrated debut album, JUST TRY. Recognized through the RBC Emerging Musician Program, their genre-blending sound has amassed millions of streams, with social media content reaching over 50 million views. Known for their electrifying performances, YASSiN & Sean Terrio are set to make Rock The Halls a night to remember.

Mindflip: A Hip-Hop artist who transforms personal adversity into powerful lyrics and high-energy performances. With over 50 million streams, Mindflip’s story of resilience and triumph is bound to inspire.

Cassie Dasilva: Known for her angst-pop anthems, Cassie’s viral TikTok hit “Unsolicited Contact” and her 6 million streams showcase her talent for transforming heartbreak into catchy hooks and memorable vocals.

Dallas: Bringing her unique brand of boundary-pushing pop, Toronto’s own Dallas captivates with haunting melodies and raw emotion. With over 37 million streams and her debut EP Did I Make You Up Inside My Head?, she is a rising star in the pop scene.

The evening also features special guests The Free Label, a Toronto-based band of six multi-instrumentalists blending 70s disco, 90s R&B, and high-energy funk. Fresh from sold-out shows worldwide, including European tours supporting legends like Incognito and Mono Neon, The Free Label’s infectious grooves and captivating stage presence promise to keep the crowd dancing.

All proceeds from Rock The Halls will benefit Kids Help Phone, a critical resource for Canadian youth since 1989. Initially a telephone counseling service, Kids Help Phone now addresses a wide range of emotional and mental health needs nationwide, providing support to young people in need of guidance, comfort, and connection.

Celebrate the holiday season by making a difference. Funds will be raised through ticket sales, a toy drive, and a silent auction. Doors open at 6 PM, and the show kicks off at 7 PM.
